Two men wee arrested in Port St. Lucie on charges of operating a marijuana grow house in their garage. Police executed a search warrant and reported a marijuana grow operation of 21 plants with more than 25 pounds of weed and also cultivation equipment. The two men have been charged with marijuana trafficking, marijuana cultivation of more than 20 grams, and marijuana possession with the intent to distribute. A misdemeanor may be charged for possession of 20 grams or less and the sale of 20 grams or less without remuneration. The possession of marijuana paraphernalia is also a misdemeanor with one year jail time and a $1,000 fine.
